Flossie Belle Holiday Adams of Estill Springs, 81, died at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee May 16 after an extended illness.
A Sewanee native, she was born February 9, 1905, to the late Marshall Holiday and Dollie Bolden Holiday. She was a homemaker and a member of the Estill Springs Church of God.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Brother Glenn Hargrove officiating. Burial was in Winchester City Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Vivian Finchum and Sadie Davis, both of Winchester, and Lena Andrews of Decherd; three sons, John Adams of Estill Springs, Joe Adams of Marietta, Georgia, and Caudie Adams of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Len Holiday of Chattanooga; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
