Ben W. Holliday
Ben W. Holliday was born June 22, 1853. He died at Winfield, Kas., June 29, 1935. His age was 77 years and seven days. Surviving Mr. Holliday are two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Humphries, 613 South First Street, Arkansas City, and Mrs. Lissie Evans, of Lawrence, Kas, and three nieces; Mrs. Fern Cochran, Parkersburg, W.V., Mrs. Alice Pancake, Arkansas City, and Mrs. Myrtle Roberson, Arkansas City.

Funeral services for Mr. Holliday were held in the Christian church. The Rev. Judson Woodside, minister of the Church of Christ at Blackwell, officiated. Mr. Holliday had been a member of the Church of Christ for forty years. Music at the services was by a quartet from Blackwell. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, at Arkansas City.
