Marsha Holt Lovett Abston, 70, of Frankfort, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her residence. Born January 13, 1946 in Mercer County, Marsha was the daughter of Realey Jackson Holt, Jr. and the late Lucille Katherine Peavler Holt. She attended Harrodsburg High School; she was an assembly line worker for Federal Mogul Corporation and was a member of the Dry Branch Baptist Church. Marsha enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening.
Survivors in addition to her father are three sons: Jonathan S. Lovett, Jeffery G. Lovett and Nicholas C. Abston all of Frankfort, IN, three daughters: Glenda E. Lidy, Rita M. Lovett and Melissa K. Lovett all of Frankfort, IN, one step son: Matthew C. Abston of Lafayette, IN, three step daughters: Jennifer A. Abston, Jessica F. Easterday and Samantha R. Abston all of Lafayette, IN, two brothers: Roy O. (Eva) Holt and Jerry R. Holt both of Harrodsburg, KY and one sister: Dorothy (Bobby) O’Neill of Parksville, KY. Eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her Mother, Marsha was preceded in death by her brother Alfred Holt.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Releford officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Jonathan Lovett, Jeffery Lovett, Nicholas Abston, Glenda Lidy, Rita Lovett and Melissa Lovett serving as pallbearers. Alexander and Royalty FH in charge of arrangements.
