Peggy Sandra Holt Campbell, 67, of Louisville, Ky., died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Baptist Health.

She was born in 1945, in San Francisco, Calif., to Fred Sr. and Ethel Carter Holt. She was raised in Madison. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Indiana University School of Social Work. She worked for the Indiana Child Protective Services, Visiting Nurse Associations, Central State Hospital of Indiana and Bingham Child Guidance Center. Following her retirement she volunteered at Pinotti's Flower Market. She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Indiana University Alumni Association. She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Carmen Suzanne Goffinet Thomas and Jennifer Paige Goffinet Canter; two brothers, Robert Holt and Fred Holt Jr.; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Carol Ann Campbell.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Highlands Funeral Home in Louisville, Ky. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
