She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy Edwards House and James Gordon House. She is survived by her husband, her two children, her grandchildren, her brother, her nephew, and her great niece. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and their Altar Guild, founding member of Lane, Lyons, Burton and Bullock Real Estate Company, former Director of the Mobile County Board of Realtors and Alabama Association of Realtors, former board member of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. She was also a member of The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Alabama, Mobile Center Chairman, and the Junior League of Mobile.
