He married Agnes Tumielewicz in Florence in 1926. He worked at National Acme, Co. for 20 years and for Cone Automatic Machine Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1958.
He served in the Vermont State Guard during World War II. He was survived by sons, Leslie J. and Stanley J. and a daughter, Veronica Ferguson.
