NEWBERRY Jetta Lee, age 70, of OKC, passed away May 15, 1995. Jetta was a resident of OKC since the 1950's and was an educator with the Oklahoma City Public School System for 28 years. Even after her retirement, Jetta continued to be active in school activities and was a substitute teacher. She received her B.A. and M.A. Degree's from Central State University and was a member of OEA, NEA, D.M.A., Happy Timers, Ladies Variety Circle and South Lee United Methodist Church. Her son, Robert L. Garrett, Father, Sam Hubbell, and brother, Sammy Hubbell all preceded her in death. Jetta married F.A. "Al" Newberry March 20, 1971 and her survives her of the home.
Other survivors include 2 sons, W.G. of Flower Mound, Tx., and J.G. of Bixby, Ok.; stepson G.N. of Panama City Beach, Fl.; mother, Mary Angie Miller of Beggs, Ok.; 2 sisters, Barbara R. of Choctaw, Ok. and M. Sullivan of Midwest City, Ok.; 5 grandchildren. The family asks for donations to the Cancer Foundation of Ok. in lieu of flowers. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home of OKC with burial in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
