A beautiful and talented woman, she had a career working for civil service at Ft. Sam Houston Army post. Mary was a member of Laurel Heights Methodist church and Gaddis Memorial Methodist church in Comfort. She will be missed by many including friends from Southwest Craft Center, her many neighbors, and her sweet dogs.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy, brother Guy W. Hughes, mother Elizabeth Warren Hughes, and father Guy Hughes.
Mary is survived by her niece, Debbie and husband Dale Kane, nephew Guy "Bud" and wife Julie Hughes, Cousin Bob Warren of Oklahoma City, numerous great nieces and nephews, and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
