Funeral services for the late Mrs. Elizabeth Fort were conducted this morning from St. Patrick's church and were largely attended by sorrowing friends, many of whom followed the remains to their last resting place in the Confederate cemetery. Mrs. Fort was 65 years old and for a number of years had been a sufferer from rheumatism. Her death occurred yesterday at her home, 629 Austin street. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Eschborn and Mrs. Itasca McCarty, of this city.
