IRENE BAUCH - FREEPORT - Irene Bauch was born June 6, 1920, and passed away at home on December 14, 2013. She was the daughter of David and Clara (Ludolph) Hull. Irene married Stanley Bauch in 1941. Over the years she was employed at Crum & Forster Insurance, Bee Line Service and Parkview Home. Irene was a 4-H and Cub Scout leader. She was active in Laurel Street Community Church, and played golf with the Park Hills Women's Golf group. Irene enjoyed playing golf, bridge, and spending time with family and friends.
Irene is survived by her son, Paul (Kathy) Bauch of Milton WI; her daughter, Carol (Jerry) Brown of West Palm Beach, FL, and her son, Michael (Mary Hiteman) Bauch of Freeport; her sister, Ruth Dikkers; sister-in- law, Katie Hull; brother-in-law, Norman Kuhlemeier; grandchildren, Wendy (Kenneth) Johnson, Kris Bauch, Heather (Jeth) Harbinson, Justin (Michelle) Brown, Amy (Kurt) Schnoor and Tyler Bauch; 8 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Oliver, James, and Elwood Hull; and sisters, Marjorie Kuhlemeier, Pauline Hull and Rachael Slaght. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013, at Walker Mortuary. Private burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Walker Mortuary. Memorial gifts will be directed to Laurel St. Church of God.
