Martha Hunnicutt has CSA widow's pension applications on line in the GA archives virtual vault under Forsyth, Fulton and Gwinnett Counties. She says her husband was Matthew R Hunnicutt. He enlisted in 1862, was captured by the enemy and died of brain fever at Camp Douglas, Ill in 1864. She and says they married Sept 1849. He served in Company F of the 55th Ga regiment and was captured at Cumberland Gap, TN.
