Mrs. Nettie B. Doan, 79, a resident of this community for 46 years, died early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Silas Transue, in Kuna, Idaho, following a long illness. Born June 1, 1879, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, she was married June 3, 1901, to David L. Doan at Mt. Olivet, Kentucky. They moved to Oklahoma in 1908 and came to this community four years later. Mr. Doan died March 28, 1954. Mrs. Doan was a charter member of Kuna Baptist Church and a strong supporter of its missionary program.

Survivors include: five daughters, Mrs. Alice Reynolds, Mrs. Elizabeth Perraut, Carrie Doan and Mrs. Transue, all of Kuna, and Mrs. Ann Eliza Taysom, of Blackfoot; two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Toadvine and Mrs. Lillie Muntz, of Cynthiana; three brothers, Taylor Hunt and Roy Hunt, of Cynthiana, and Marion Hunt, of Miami, Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held in Kuna Baptist Church Friday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Irving Frank officiating. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Robinson Chapel, of Meridian, will be in charge. Interment will be in Kuna Cemetery.
