Mrs. Bowie was born Jan. 5, 1905, in McCool. She was a retired seamtress with E.R. Moore in Ocean Springs. She was a member of Gautier United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Bowie; two sons, Fred C. Bowie and James Robert Bowie; and a daughter, Faye Shows.
Survivors include two sons, Everette W. Bowie of Olive Branch and Guy Bowie of Gulfport; two daughters, Ruby Jones of Baton Rouge and Shirley Perez of Pascagoula; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gautier United Methodist Church with burial in Crestlawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
