"When a child is born, so is a grandmother"

Big Ma'ma

A mother, a friend and a sweet wife. The most wonderful woman to ever live. When I came into this world, she saved my life. To everyone she gave all she had to give.

She worked hard and her hands were rough, she raised seven children when times were tough. Our clothes were made from feed sacks it's true but we wore them with pride, just like they were new.

She raised a garden from which we would eat. The love that she gave us was truly complete. There aren't enough words that I can write or say, to tell you how much I miss my Big Ma'ma today.

If I could see her right now, for the first time in many years, I would whisper I love you again and again in her ears.

I think that she is with me and she's keeping me safe. I will see her again and it will be worth the wait. I miss my Ma'ma more than I can say. I will love her forever, forever and a day.
