Mary Harper, 81, of the Lyndwood section of Hanover Township, died Wednesday at Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.

Born Jan. 30, 1922, in Larksville, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Synchyzen) Husak. She was a graduate of Larksville High School and was employed by Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Plymouth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sisters, Anna Husak, Catherine Gallagher and Martha Husack; and brothers, Warren and Joseph.

Surviving are son, John Zelinski Sr., Edwardsville; daughter, Kathy A. Sekelsky, Duryea; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Houssock, Fairmount Township; sister, Sophie Kondraski, Kearney, N.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Saturday from the Edward and Russin Funeral Home, 717 Main St., Edwardsville, with a Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Plymouth, with the Rev. Thaddeus Krawchuk and Rev. Dr. Nick Kostiuk officiating.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

A Parastas service will be at 7 p.m.
