Alice M. Huskey, 86, Stockton, formerly of Rolla, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Stockton Nursing Home. She was born in Yancy Mills April 20, 1923, to William "Bill" and Mae (Brown) Hargis.
She married Thomas Ervin "Pete" Huskey Jan. 3, 1940.
Survivors include a son, Roy Huskey and wife Glenda of Elkland; a daughter, Patty Thompson of Stockton; two brothers, Tom Hargis and wife Nona of Arkansas and Bill Hargis and wife Mary of Springfield; a sister, Marjorie Baker of Rolla; three grandchildren, Angela Jones and husband Casey of Stockton, Pamela Rackley of Rolla, Marlene Huskey of Hawaii; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mae Hargis; her husband, Thomas Huskey July 1982; two brothers; and a granddaughter, Marcia Huskey.
Visitation was held prior to services at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Pilot Knob Church in Rolla, with the Rev. Gary Bartle officiating. Burial was in Pilot Knob Cemetery under the direction of Null and Son Funeral Home, Rolla.
