Mildred L. Griffin, 80, went to be with her Heavenly Father Dec. 14, 2006. She was born Aug. 16, 1926 in Muskogee, OK. Her parents were Earl and Verna (Ellis) Hutchins. She retired from the F.A.A. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, Robert Trower and Virgil Griffin; and son, Dorman Griffin. She is survived by daughters Sharyn Lester and husband Don, and Jennifer Brandon and husband Joel; sons Tommy Griffin and wife Karen, and Ernie Trower and wife Sarah; daughter-in-law Sharon Griffin; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. We know that Mother is truly 'home" this Christmas rejoicing with her loved ones. Special thanks to Dr. Laura Rankin and Dr. William Fors for their loving care of mother over the years. Also special thanks to Crossroads Hospice and The Lakes Care Center. Services will be Tues., Dec. 19, 2006, 10:00am at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
