Born and raised in New Britain she was one of three daughters born to William and Mildred (Gustafson) Igoe.
She graduated from New Britain High School in 1939 and worked at a number of jobs including New Departure, Stanley Tools, Aetna, Accurate Brazing, Dwight Foote and the Berlin Board of Education from which she retired.
She resided for 60 years on Goodale Dr., raising and caring for her family. She loved her neighbors and family as well as enjoyed art and reading.
She will be laid to rest in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
