She attended and graduated from Canadian schools. She moved to the United States after marrying Frank W. Banks Sr. in 1961. They remained happily married for 21 years until his passing in 1982. Mrs. Banks worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant on Long Island before moving to Niagara Falls in 1974. She enjoyed making Afghans and quilting but her greatest joy was her time with her family.
Mrs. Banks is survived by three children, Frank W. Banks and George Banks of Niagara Falls and Heather Fama of Tennessee. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Dwayne and Aimee Shelly, Katherine Banks and Stephanie and Kathleen Fama; three great-grandchildren, Athena Shelly, Samuel (Lewis) Shelly and Mason (Fama) Kinnaman; and two siblings, Alex (Jackie) Innes of Kapuskasing, ON and Jean Morin of Cochrane, ON. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Dwayne E. Banks (1982) and six siblings, Donald, Sammy, Jimmy, MacKenzie and Eric Innes and Helen Luttit.
