Elizabeth Beatrice DeLauder, 105 of Gladwin, formerly of Harrison, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2004 at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home. Elizabeth was born July 5, 1898, the daughter of David and Minnie (Jessel) Innes.
Elizabeth was united in marriage to John Marsh in 1914, she was later united in marriage to Aaron DeLauder on July 17, 1933. Mr. DeLauder preceded Elizabeth in death on September 22, 1964. Mrs DeLauder was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star #408 of Harrison.
Surviving are one son, Wesley J. Marsh and wife Lorna of Houghton Lake, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Eleanor Marsh of Pahrump, Nevada; stepdaughter, Grayce Borst of Indiana; one brother, Andrew Innes of Sandusky, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Johnson of Ypsilanti, Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; plus nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeLauder was also preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Arron C. DeLauder, Nelson P. Marsh, and Clayton C. Marsh; one stepdaughter, Muriel DeLauder; two stepsons, Leonard DeLauder and Clare DeLauder; three sisters Gorgena Auten, Irene Picket and Mina Force; eight brothers: John Gordon Innes, Allen Dingman Innes, James Lewis Innes, Kitchener Alexander Innes, Robert Angus Innes and Wallace Edward Innes.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Interment will be in Ortonville Cemetery, Ortonville, Michigan. Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. (The Clare County Cleaver – Harrison, MI – 10 June 2004)
