Obituary for Maurice M. Irwin
Maurice M. Irwin, 75, of R. 4, Noblesville, died Monday, Sept. 3, 1979, in his home. A lifetime resident of Hamilton County, he was born here March 12, 1904, to Charles and Margaret (Wheatley) Irwin. He owned and operated Irwin's Implement until his retirement. He was a member of Fall-Wayne Lions Club.
His wife, Rosa Irwin, died in 1955. He later married the former Grace Gage, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son of Indianapolis, a brother Ralph of Arcadia, and three grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coaltrin-Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. The Rev. David Wharmby will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery east of Fishers.

He was also an inventor and held several patents. He always had the latest gadgets and his nieces loved being with him. They said he was also a jokester.
