Sarah E. Andrews [sic Andrew] Succumbs Suddenly
Funeral Rites Will Be Held At Warren Tuesday Afternoon

Death came at 11:40 o'clock Saturday evening to Mrs. Sarah Emily Andrews[sic Andrew], 73, widow of James W. Andrews, of Warren, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Borne, at 515 South Jersey street. She was taken suddenly ill with uremic poisoning two weeks ago last Thursday and her condition had been critical since.

Mrs. Andrews[sic Andrew] was born Aug. 28, 1850, at Pendleton, the daughter of Jonathan and Aseneth Irwin. She was three months old when she was brought by her parents to Warren and her home had been made there since. For the last three years she had spent the winters with her daughter, Mrs. Borne, in this city. Mr. Andrews passed away 16 years ago last September.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Charles Borne, Mrs. A. A. Zike, of Robinson, Ill., and Frank Andrews, of Warren. A daughter, Rose, is deceased. Mrs. Zike had been at her mother's bedside two weeks previous to the latter's death. One sister, Mrs. John Loudenback, of Chicago, mourns Mrs. Andrews' death, as do 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Andrews was a member of the Christian church at Warren. She held membership in the Rebekah lodge there and the Women's Benefit Association of Maccabees in Bluffton.

Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church in Warren, with interment in Woodlawn cemetery. The body was taken home Sunday afternoon.
