Mrs. Alice Jackson Cannon, age 71 of 612 Easley Bridge Road Greenville, SC died Sunday September 4, 2016 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born in Greenville, South Carolina a daughter of the late Wardlaw Jackson Sr. and Uzzie Rogers. She was educated in the public schools of Greenville County and a former employee of Woodside Mills, the Simpsonville Plant.
She is survived by one son, VonRay Brown of Greenville, South Carolina; three daughters, Mary Rachel Jackson of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Uzzie Cannon of Richmond, Virginia, Antoinette Brown of Greenville, South Carolina; four sisters, Nettie J. Martin of Piedmont, South Carolina, Tressie Jackson, Sarah Gregory both of Greenville, South Carolina and Evelyn Dendy of Fountain Inn, South Carolina. five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville with Rev. T.E. Simmons officiating. Burial in Pinedale Memorial Park. The family is at the home.
