Mrs Burts had made her home in Greenville for 15 years and was formerly of Thomasville, N.C. Her death followed a week of illness and brings sorrow to her many friends. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband, S.M. Burts and one son, Samuel Burts of this city; her mother, Mrs. Maggie Jackson, of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Ervin Roach, Greenville; Miss Omie Jackson, Thomasville, N.C.; and three brothers, Harley Jackson, Thomasville, N.C.; Fred Jackson, Greenville; Henry Jackson, of Inman.
The body is at the residence awaiting the hour of the service.
