Born in Long Island, NY, she was a daughter of Mary Ritter Jackson and the late Edward David Jackson.
Carol was a member of Berea First Baptist Church. She loved swimming, dancing, playing Bridge, and jewelry. She loved watching football and was a Clemson fan.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by seven sons, Ken Allison, Robbie Allison, Jeff Allison, Michael Allison, Andy Horne, Greg Horne, Jeff Horne; 15 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy Brown.
She was preceded in death by her first husband James Allison; and one sister, Linda Simpson.
