Albert (Al) Frederick Jackson of Greenville met his Lord and Savior on January 29, 2017 at the age of 80. He was born December 26, 1936 in Freehold, NJ, the son of Albert William and Helene (Krueger) Jackson. Al enjoyed reading, singing, discovering new missionary biographies, collecting trains, boating, walking, and watching the World Series. His passion was aiding missionaries and pastors in their gospel ministries. Al was preceded in death by his parents, sister Margaret Jackson Smith, brother George Jackson and wife Dar Laughlin Jackson. He is survived by his older sister, Ruth Calkins of Washington State and by many of his “adopted” kids and grandkids.

Services will be held Saturday, February 4 at Westville Funeral Home Chapel, located at 6010 White Horse Road Greenville, SC 29611. Visitation will be from 10:00am until noon with the memorial service at noon. Interment will follow the service at Graceland West Cemetery (near the funeral home).

In lieu of flowers, funds can be given through a memorial fund that has been set up under “Al Jackson Memorial” on GoFundMe.com. Al was loved and will be missed by all.
