Mary Ann Hobson, 75 of Lexington, died Sunday, November 14, 2004 in the Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center, Buena Vista. She was born March 24, 1929 in Albany, NY, daughter of the late James C. and Mary Berkley Jackson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lexington.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Erskin Hobson; sons, William A. Hobson and Ronald C. Hobson, both of Lexington; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother, James Jackson of Waynesboro; sisters, Anna May Berry and Estelle Johnson both of Waynesboro.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2004 at the Lomax Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Long, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lexington. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by the Lomax Funeral Home, Buena Vista.
