RANSON, W.Va. - Agnes Geraldine Bailey, 72, of Ranson, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at her home.

Born April 17, 1929, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Roosevelt and Mary Louise Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Bailey Sr.

She was a member of House of Prayer Church of God.

She worked for Charles Town Races.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Twyman of Ranson; one son, William E. Bailey Jr. of Ranson; two grandchildren, Tosha Bailey and Joey Twyman; one great-grandchild; and a close friend, Richard Davis.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Jackson and William Jackson; aunts and uncles.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at House of Prayer Church of God, Charles Town, W.Va. Elder Paul Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, W.Va.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, Ranson.
