PINEVILLE - Nianza M. Baldwin, 77, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, in a Welch hospital following a long illness.

Born Sept. 5, 1923, in Keyrock, she was the daughter of the late Jesse J. Jackson Sr. (1893-1974) and Nevada "Vada" Cook-Jackson (1895-1979).

Mrs. Baldwin was a member of the Pineville United Methodist Church and a lifelong resident of Wyoming County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ezra "Whitey" Baldwin Sr. on Jan. 14, 1990; three brothers, Harry Jackson (1921-Deceased), Jack Freeland Jackson (Deceased) and Elva Arthur Jackson (1929-1969); and a sister, Geraldine Jackson-Brooks (1915-1994).

Survivors include a son, Albert "Al" "Hoot" E. Baldwin Jr. (1954-2016) of Keyrock; a daughter, Nancy J. Baldwin-Reichert of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Jesse J. Jackson Jr. (B. 1918) of Rock View, and Thomas "Tom" Jackson (B. 1927) of Rock View; a niece, Carolyn Clay of Pineville; and three grandchildren, April White, Jamie Leigh and Joshua Reichert.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery at Keyrock.
