Opal Lorraine French, 92, of Olney, died at 12:52 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2003 at Richland Care & Rehab in Olney.

Services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Seals officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park near Claremont.

Mrs. French was born on March 13, 1911 in Jasper County, the daughter of John and Sylvania (McKinney) Jayne. She married William Thomas Hunley on February 17, 1930 in Olney. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1965. She later married Guy French on August 21, 1973 in Olney. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1975.

She worked at International Shoe Company in Olney for 28 years. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Olney and participated in the Joy Club at the church.

Mrs. French is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Burgener and her husband, Wayne of Olney and Betty Rexroat Watters and her husband, Myron of Chillicothe; a step-daughter, Patty Moyer and her husband, Bill of California; a step-son, Bob French; and eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three(sic) husbands, a son, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, a son-in-law, a brother, three sisters and a step-daughter.
