Diane Henderson, 65, a resident of Mitten Rock, N.M., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, in Shiprock. She was born Jan. 27, 1951, in Cove, Ariz., the daughter of Little Joe and Mary Ann Benally. Diane was preceded in death by her father, Little Joe; and a sister, Direne Garfield. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Herbert Henderson; sons, Gregory Henderson, Anthony Henderson, and Scott Whitehurst; daughters, Tricia Whitehurst, Gwen Henderson and Jonell Henderson; her mother, Mary Ann Joe; brother, Erick Joe, sisters, Ada Nez, Irene Yellowhorse, Joann King; grandchildren, Isabella, Matthew, Zachary, Tobias, Mary, Jerica, Pryscilla, David, Juaqin, Brody, Ryan and many dear friends. A visitation for friends and family will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, followed by the services at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Farmington, 808 N. Monterey with Pastor Eric Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington. Diane's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E.
