(Ethel) Sally Johnson Almendinger, 79, formerly of Irvine, PA. died Tuesday morning, December 21, 2010 at Warren Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born March 26, 1931 in Warren, PA. to the late Jerrold and Lucille Fox Johnson. She has resided in Warren Co. her entire life. She was an avid crafter, gardener and loved her cats.

Sally is survived by her 2 Children John Almendinger and his wife, Eugenia of Warren, PA., Shirley Ecker and her companion, Tom Peterson of Jamestown, N.Y., 6 Grandchildren Luke & Rebecca Ecker of Panama, NY, Lewis and Amy Ecker of Jamestown, N.Y., Amanda, Melissa and Shawn Almendinger all of Warren, PA., Danielle Almendinger of Erie, PA., 5 Greatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Cecil J. Lyon, 3 Brothers Leonard, Richard and Charles Johnson.
