Anchorage Daily news June 7, 1979

Funeral services were held Monday for Albert W Johnson, 48, of 1711 Helen Ave. who died Thursday in a local automobile accident. Rev Niel Thompson officiated.

He came to Anchorage in 1977 from Los Angeles but lived intermittently in Reno, Nev and Seattle Wash. He had been employed as a design engineer at Fire Prevention, Inc. was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Sunset Baptist Church and is remembered as being an avid fisherman who loved outdoor sports.

He is survived by his wife Anne, his mother, Mrs. Eva Sharfal and stepfather, John Sharfal, both of Niles, Ohio; two daughters Jeanine Hart, of Burbank, Calif. Dianne Kuykendall of Las Vegas, Nev, sister Ms. Elizabeth WEimer of Pacoima, Calif. and neices Linda nad Marilyn. Burial was in the Angelus Memorial Park. Arrangements by Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
