WOODBRIDGE — Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie W. Chasey Johnson, 10 Roanoke Street, a former resident of Cliffwood Beach, who died August 2 at Patterson Army Hospital, Fort Monmouth, was held Saturday morning at the Gundrum Service, Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with a high Mass of requiem at St. Lawrence Church. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.

The deceased was the widow of John R. Johnson. She had resided in Cliffwood Beach 26 years prior to moving to Woodbridge 18 months ago. She was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor, and a member of its Rosary Society.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Connors, Woodbridge; a son, William J. Chasey U.S. Army stationed in South Carolina.
