nn Jones Bailey, 87, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen N. Johnson and Rev. Lee Shepard officiating. The family will meet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church, 1451 Bass Road, Macon GA 31210.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Macon, GA to the late Claude E. and Ivy Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Bailey. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church and the J.C. Johnson Sunday School Class. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
