Eugene L. (Buddy) Jones of Flintstone died Wednesday, Jan. 19, at his home. He was 62. He was a graduate of City High School and was a member of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church. He was retired from the City of Chattanooga in traffic engineering. He was a mem-ber of Union Local IBEW 175. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Jones; mother and stepfather, Mary Thelma and A.B. Green; first wife, Doris Sue Jones. Survivors include his wife, Linda Jones; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Brent Barnes of Flintstone, Karen and Scott Terrell, Peggy and Steve Brown, all of Chickamauga; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Max Thomas of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; grandchildren, Garrett, Zachary, Jeremy, Rachel, Rebecca, Michael, LeAnn; several nieces and nephews. Services: Friday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Ed-gar Johnson officiating. Burial: Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
