Sylvia was born in Glendale, Arizona on March 11, 1929 to Charles and Laura Rigsby. They moved to Ontario, Oregon where she graduated from Ontario High School. On November 29, 1959 Sylvia married Ralph C. Jordan, the love of her life. Together they had two wonderful sons Marion & Mitchell. Sylvia was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and enjoyed her T.O.P.S. Club. She enjoyed playing Bingo where she could yell "I won!" She will always be remembered for her infectious giggles, jumbo cookies, popcorn cakes and terrific Watergate salad.
Sylvia was a faithful member of the Lutheran Brethren Church. Sylvia treasured her time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She always looked forward to the next visit and good times she spent with them. She loved her numerous family and friends and especially loved her "almost twin sister" Irene. She also loved the attention of her niece Patty Yates and daughter DeEette.
She is survived by hers sons Marion Jordan and his wife Melanie, Mitchell Jordan and his wife Ruth Anne, daughter in law Renae Jordan, three grand children Justin Jordan and his wife Natalie, David Jordan and Steve James, sister Amy Irene and her husband Richard Parker, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sibby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and six sisters.
Memorial services will be held at the Lutheran Brethren Church at 730 W. Roosevelt in Nampa on January 30th at 10:00 am. Graveside inurnment services will follow at Cloverdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the Lutheran Brethren Church in memory of Sylvia Jordan
