MATTOON -- Sali "Lizzie" Elizabeth Bean, age 55, of Mattoon, IL, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Friday July 12, 2014 at her residence.

The funeral service in her honor will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938. Reverend Steve Massengill will officiate. Interment will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday July 15, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Born May 22, 1959, Sali was the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Farris) Jordan. On September 14, 1984, she married Roger O. Bean in Cooks Mills, IL. He survives. Survivors include her mother Barbara Farris and husband Bob of Cooks Mills, IL. and step mom Norma Jordan of Mattoon, IL; her daughters, Barbara Beliz of Mattoon, IL, Terri Vaughn and husband Jerehmy of Mattoon, IL and Kimberly Dobbs of Mattoon, IL. She is also survived by her siblings Dena Artis and husband Dwight of DeLand, IL, Chris Turner of Mattoon, IL, Bill Hall of Texas, Russell Jordan and wife Janet of Mattoon, IL, James Jordan and wife Pam of Mattoon, IL, Teresa Garrett and husband John of DeLand, IL, Douglas Jordan of Indiana and Michael Farris of Mattoon, IL. Her grandchildren, Trevor Watkins, Brooke Beliz, Alex McGguire, Nick Vaughn, Ethan Beliz, Hope Dobbs and Jerehmy Vaughn Jr., numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Max. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Donna Duggins, granddaughter Macee Dobbs and a brother in law James Turner.

Mrs. Bean was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was always caring for others. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with family; she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

We love you and you will be sadly missed. Your loving husband of almost 30 years, your daughters, grand-kids, brothers, sisters and rest of your family. R.I.P my love until we meet again!
