Ellwood Joseph Joyner, 86, died Jan. 13, 2000. He was a native of Portsmouth and a retired paint supervisor for NNSY. He was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church.
Mr. Joyner is survived by his wife, Lillie Joyner; a daughter, Peggy Hannah of Portsmouth; and two sons, Ellwood Joyner Jr. of Chesapeake and Charles Butler of Portsmouth; a brother, Charles Joyner of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday by Father Robert Cummins in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Loving Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
