Ann Rose Kane died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, July 4th 2016 near her home in Monroe Township NJ. She was 82.

Ann was born Ann Rose Loftus in Scranton, PA and lived in Atlantic City, NJ, Coral Gables, FL, Southampton, NY and Princeton, NJ and lived a wonderful life highlighted by the births of her children and grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her loving husband Ronald Kane to whom she was married 58 years, three children: Christina Sahr and her husband Seth Sahr, Nancy Kane and Ronnie Kane, Jr and his wife Maureen and four grandchildren: Sydney Sahr, Teddy Sahr, Bridget Kane and Aidan Kane.

Ann was an exceptionally kind and generous person who loved and cherished her family above all else. A lover of literature and an avid gardener, Ann was an expert at the NY Times Sunday crossword puzzles, a diehard Yankee fan, a Civil War enthusiast and was always there for those in need. She was a wonderful cook and hostess who took great joy in a house full of friends and loved ones. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

A service for family and friends will be held at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington, NJ.
