Mrs. Anderson Dies, Gold Star Mother
Mrs. Bridget A. Anderson of 18 Johnson Ave., Cohoes, widow of the late Charles Anderson, died yesterday at her home residence after a long illness. She was born in Ireland, but resided in Cohoes most of her life. Mrs. Anderson was a Gold Star Mother, mother of Pfc. Lawrence Anderson killed in action in the invasion of Normandy. She was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James Catalfomo and Mrs. Thomas Chevalier and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a. m. from the Edward Stanton Duneral Home, 325 Columbia St., Cohoes and at 11 a. m. from St. Agnes' Church where a Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated.

The funeral of Mrs. Bridget A. Anderson was held yesterday from the Edward J. Stanton Funeral Home, 326 Columbia St., Cohoes and from St. Annes' Church where a solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated by Rev. Leo P, Brady, Rev. Gregory S. Weider and Rev. Charles C. Smith were deacon and subdeacon, respectively. Bearers were Gilbert Downs, Sr., Gerald Kane, Wayne Proctor and James Shea. Father Smith officiated at the grave in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.
