Joyce B Kaslaitis, 61, Tonganoxie, Kansas, died Thursday, August 7, 1997, at her home.
Mrs Kaslaitis was born March 15, 1936, in Little Valley, New York, the daughter of Erwin and Irene (Brown) Boberg. She moved to Tonganoxie in 1972 from Connecticut. Mrs Kaslaitis was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie and the Cosmo Pals, Lawrence, Kansas. She was united in Marriage January 16, 1960 to John F Kaslaitis. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include one son, Brian Kaslaitis, Eudora, Kansas; three daughters, Sandra Swisher, Frisco, Texas, Suzanne Townley, Gardner, Kansas and Charlene Kaslaitis, Lawrence, Kansas; two brothers, Richard Boberg, Madison, New Jersey and David Boberg, West Valley, New York; one sister, Alice Froelich, Kenoza Lake, New York; and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held August 11, 1997, at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Tonganoxie, Kansas. The Rev. Mark Goldasich officiated. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Tonganoxie. Memorials are suggested to Kansas City Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
