Rita Kassir, 63, died Oct. 31, 2000, in a local hospital. Born in London, England, she was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wally Kassir; a son, John Kassir of Virginia Beach; and two sisters, Judy Kouble of Long Island, N.Y., and Jennifer Morton of England. She was predeceased by her son, Basil Kassir.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Friday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by Fr. George Paulson. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
