Alva Nell Archer, age 81 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017. She is preceded by her parents Marvin and Carrie; brother, Donald Kelley; and a sister Diane Kelley; numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived her husband of 64 years, James Archer; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Archer Watson and Jack Watson, Sr. of Hendersonville, TN; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Brandy Archer of Rockvale, TN, and Anthony and Tia Archer of Newborn, GA; 8 grandchildren, Jack Watson, Jr. (Cayce), Carrie Watson Kulesa (Jim), Chelsea Watson Brewer (Evan), Kelly Archer, Katie Archer, Caleb Archer, Joshua Archer, and Michael Archer; great- grandchildren, Jackie Watson, Parker Watson, Kayleah Kulesa, Chloe Kulesa; sister, Frances Kelley of Loganville; brother, Junior Kelley of Conyers.
Born and raised in Farill, AL, she spent the early part of her life on the family farm. She has lived in Loganville for 21 years. She worked for many years for Marshall's warehouse in Lithonia. A good Christian woman, she enjoyed flower gardening and watching videos of the Gaither family. She was a longtime member of the Avondale Church of God.
The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Alva N. Archer will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
