Minnie Lee Kelley Barton
MOULTRIE — Minnie Lee Kelley Barton, 99, of Moultrie died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Zion Grove Assembly of God with the Rev. Curt McCollough officiating.
Interment will follow at Bridge Creek Cemetery.
Grandsons and nephews of Mrs., Barton will serve as casket bearers.
Born March 24, 1911, in Moultrie, Mrs. Barton was the daughter of the late A.N. Kelley and Sally Sarah Sellers Kelley.
She was a homemaker and a farmer, and she was a member of Zion Grove Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Troy Barton.
Survivors include five sons, Williard Barton and wife Jane of Thomasville, Aaron Barton of Moultrie, Darrell Barton of Moultrie, Glenn Barton and wife Linda of Groveland, Fla., and Troy Norris and wife Jane of Thomasville; four daughters, Correne Willoughby of Moultrie, Elizabeth Barton of Moultrie, Faye Burnham and husband Darrell of Moultrie and Betty Hall of Moultrie; 28 grandchildren, Volina Murphy, Sue Murphy, Barbara Morris, Laquita Bennett, Robbie Sloan, Todd Strickland, Scott Strickland, Kylie Strickland, Lynita Butler, Tim Barton, Sheila Kruse, Keith Barton, Shannon Taylor, Keisha Pappas, Michael Allen, Michelle Gills, Jimmy Pierce, Chris Pierce, Lorraine Thompson, Tina Outlaw, Tammy Everson, Terry Lynn Harvey, Windell Willoughby, Donna Garrett, Jerry Burnham, Sherri Holweger, Becky Griffin and Michael Whitfield; 38 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 today at the funeral home.
