Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Kelley Baker, age 89, Rome, Riverside Community, passed away Saturday July 16th in a Rome Medical Center.

Mrs. Baker was born July 17, 1921, in Floyd County, a daughter of the late James A. Garfield Kelley and Flarria Wilson Kelley. Mrs. Baker grew up in Elora, Tennessee. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, Naomi Sunday School Class, WMU, and the Riverside Ladies Club. Mrs. Baker retired from Rome Coca Cola Bottling Company, where she was a inspector for over 40 years of services. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Baker, February 4th 1988, a grandson, Stanley Louis Baker. Sisters, Frankie Lee, Billie Lambert, Joy Tipton, brothers, Howard Jones, Hoyt Jones, and Herbert Kelley.

Survivors include a son, Edward Baker, and wife, Sherry, Armuchee; a daughter, Evelyn Proctor, and husband, David, Rome; grandson, Michael Proctor, Armuchee; great grandson, Jarrett Proctor, Armuchee; step granddaughter, Candice Cole, Resacca; step great great grandchild, Aaron Cole; Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 19th at Riverside Baptist Church, with Rev Randy Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. Tuesday until funeral hour at Riverside Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church 48 Ash Street Rome, Ga. 30161.

Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at Riverside Baptist Church by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Joel Pearson, Lamar Sullins, Fred Rife, Ed Selman, Buddy Andrew, Allen Pinson, Earl Skeen, and Donald Traylor.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Naomi Sunday School Class.
