Margaret P. Kelley, 91, of Exeter, formerly of Hampton and Quincy, Mass., died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at Langdon Place of Exeter. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., Nov. 26, 1918, a daughter of the late James and Delia (Cotter) Kelly. Mrs. Kelley loved to travel and was a frequent visitor to Hampton since her childhood. She loved the New Hampshire seacoast and eventually built a home in Hampton. She and her late husband, Thomas V. Kelley, wintered in Florida and came back to New England for the summers. Margaret was an avid golfer and scored her second hole-in-one at the age of 76 at the Presidential Club in Quincy. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Hampton and Sacred Heart Church in Quincy. Survivors include her nephews, Moss Burke, James Burke and Michael McCarthy; her nieces, Patricia Burke DeLosa, MaryEllen Griffith; and a very large and loving extended family. She was predeceased by her husband of over 25 years, Thomas V. Kelley; her brothers, James and Brud Kelly; and her sisters, Mary Sis Kelly Burke and Ellen Babe McCarthy. Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home - Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. Burial will be at 1 p.m., following Mass in Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams St., Dorchester, Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
