Dorothea T. Dot (Kelly) Anderton, of Weymouth, passed away with her loving family by her side, Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth, where she has resided for the past three years. She was 84 years of age. Born to the late William and Mary (Lazzari) Kelly in East Boston where she was raised and educated, Dot had lived in Weymouth for 55 years. She was a retired State Street Bank employee and former member of the Greater Boston Bankers Assoc., the East Weymouth Neighborhood Club and the Weymouth Newcomers Club. She was also a Eucharistic Minister at the Immaculate Conception Church. Beloved wife of the late William E. Anderton. Devoted mother of James E. Anderton married to Arlene of E. Weymouth, Robert W. Anderton married to Kristin of Plymouth, Jeffrey K. Anderton married to Denise of Rockland and the late Willliam E. Anderton Jr. Loving sister of the late Ruth Santiago, the late Willliam F. Kelly Jr. and the late Mary Sinabaldi. Proud grandmother of Brenda Brawn married to Greg, Christopher Anderton married to Heather, Patrick, Sean, Lindsey and Jade Anderton. Great-grandmother of Jake, Julia and William Brawn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting in the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth at 809 Main St., (Rte. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Tuesday afternoon 4-8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. and burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
