Suggested edit: Miss Susie Kelso, the charming daughter or Mrs. J. C. Kelso, and Mr. Oscar L. Ralston were united in marriage at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Rawls, on Church Street, at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, December 4, 1907, and it was one of the prettiest home weddings of the season. The ceremony was pronounced by Rev. W. J. Collier. The wedding march was beautifully rendered by Miss Kate Cashion. Before the wedding, Mr. Dana McKinney, of Chattanooga, sang "Thou Art Mine All," then to the strain of Mendelasohn's wedding march the bridal party came down the stairs and through the library into the parlor. The party was composed first of Mr. B. M. Rawls and Mr. Robert Hereford, followed by Misses Bertha Strong, of Columbia, and Mary White Buchanan, then came along Miss Ethel Kelso, of Fort Worth, Texas, the maid of honor, followed by the groom and his best man, Mr. Thomas Wiley, and the bridge with her brother, Mr. R. M. Kelso, of Fort Worth, Texas, who gave her away. The bride was gowned in a stylish blue cloth tailored coat suit with hat to match. The bridal bouquet was of exquisite bride's roses, the attendants carried chrysanthemums. The decorations were eleborate with wreaths of holly and banks of ferns and palms and chyrsantemums. Refreshments were served in the parlor by Miss Odell Wallace, which were in keeping with the color scheme, green and white.
