She was a member for 15 years at the First United Methodist Church of Montevallo, attended Auburn University, and retired from Motion Industries.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Kendrick; parents, John and Jeanett Samsal; brother, John Samsal Jr; and sister, Helen Burgin.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Fancher; sister-in-law, Mary Jean Forman; cousin, Marvin Samsal; and 6 nieces and nephews.
